Etched Brass Upgrades | Gibson 'Golden' Gothic Flying V

Let’s get destructive with this new upgrade video…

Upgrades continue on the Gibson Gothic Flying V.

In a divergence from the plan discussed at the end of the previous video the Gothic V is fitted with custom parts from Indra Guitars.

Indra provided etched brass pickguard, string plate, truss cover, and inlay for this project which were designed with the themes of Pictish iconography and Mary Anning inspired Paleontology in mind.

The guitar is converted to a string through design, the new inlay is installed and we play about with an idea that will incorporate both the string alignment of the String Butler and the cool looks of the Indra Truss cover.

Finally some pickup potting and light electronic upgrades round out the episode.
